The 3 Stages Of Content
When you’re first getting into content, it’s going to be tough, but looking at things in stages is what you need to do, rather than focusing on becoming Gary Vee Overnight. Here are the 3 stages that you have to go through:
Consistency:
This one is obvious, but without it you won’t get anywhere. I get asked daily how many times should I post a day? What should I post every day? How many days should I post?
The answer to all of these questions is “Consistency > Perfection”.
Our current Dilemma: moving to stage 3 before conquering stage 1 on another platform
Consistency should be on one maybe two platforms.
Quality:
Another obvious piece, but not commonly executed. Once you’re consistent, now you need to step up the quality. If it’s Reels doing fancier captions, if it’s FB, longer and better copy etc.
Now once you’re at this stage you really need to understand how to write, how to present and shift perspectives (which we will cover in later modules).
(C + Q) x Quantity = Content Mastery
The final stage of content is Consistent, Quality and Quantity. So now you’re adding in multiple platforms, multiple mediums and you’re posting double to triple what you were doing before and it is leading to results.
Some people skip the quality step and just blast content consistently and that’s why it’s not successful.
That’s why we need both consistency and quality dialed in before we add in quantity.
This is primarily done with a team of editors and copywriters. The quantity piece cannot be done alone.
